Grasshopper Manufacture, the Japanese development team behind No More Heroes and led by Suda-51, have another 'big project' in the works besides the sequel to NMH, Marvelous Entertainment head Yasuhiro Wada has revealed.
Wada outed the news when asked by EDGE why he had handled the 360/PS3 port duties of the original No More Heroes to Feelplus, saying:
"GHM is focusing on No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, and I've heard that they have another big project in the works, but I don't know any details. Personally, I'd rather GHM create a brand new original title than a remake.
"Also, Feelplus has experience working on next-gen systems with Lost Odyssey, so that's another reason I'm confident they can provide a high-quality remake. By the way, Suda 51 will be involved in this project in the role of creative consultant."
Of course, this 'big project' could be the unnamed title announced by EA in August 2008 when the published revealed that they had partnered with GHM to create a horror title for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC. Nothing's been heard of the game since then, however.
No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle launches in North America in January. A 360/PS3 port of the original is due to release some time next year.
