Talking to GamerZines at a recent Dead Space: Extraction hands-on event, Dead Space producer Richard Briggs has hinted that players might want to stick around to the end credits of Extraction if they want to see what the future holds for the series.
When asked by us whether Extraction would give any indication as to where the series may be headed in the future, Briggs laughed and replied:
"Let me just say that if you're going to play Extraction, you should play all the way to the end."
Make of that what you will.

A report in Variety magazine last month rumoured that Visceral was currently working on both Dead Space 2 and 3, while the LinkedIn profile of EA's Pratik Patel also seemingly confirmed that the game was in development when he revealed that he was serving as Dead Space 2's technical/development director.
It's got to be happening, hasn't it?
Visceral Games is currently putting the finishing touches to Dead Space: Extraction on Wii, and has God of War-alike Dante's Inferno hitting Xbox 360 and PS3 next February.
