Plans for a scrapped Limited Edition Zelda Controller designed to celebrate the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess have been unearthed.
Available from the Behance portfolio of Nubytech designer Alfredo Tato, artwork and what appears to be a produced model were created but sadly never made it to production lines.
You may know the video game accessory manufacturer Nubytech for their work on the Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw controllers and the Street Fighter 15th anniversary pads.
As you can see from the images provided, the controller would be available in a decorative book whereas the controller itself features a shield in the centre of the pad.
Looks like Nubytech and Nintendo chose not to give the controller the green light. This may have had something to do with Nintendo choosing to bring the title to the Nintendo Wii in late 2005.
Take a good look at it, would you have picked this up with your copy of Twilight Princess? We’re sure some Zelda fans certainly would have!
