Nintendo’s critically-acclaimed Super Mario Galaxy 2 has sold over five million units worldwide, the company’s latest financial results can reveal.
Since releasing in May/June, Mario’s second foray into space sold its million units in North America with six weeks and has continued to perform well in the charts.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is yet to top one million units sold in Japan.
This star-studded sequel still has a long way to go before it beats the sales of the original which has sold nearly nine million units worldwide.
