Punk designer Goichi Suda has said that Travis Touchdown and the No More Heroes series are to be put on hold for the foreseeable future.
Speaking at a recent press event for his development team Grasshopper Studios, Suda explained that the reason behind this move was to allow hunter of demons Garcia Hotspur to have a moment in the spotlight.
The famed games designer likened this more to gaming’s favourite Otaku handing over the baton to the Shadows of the Damned hero.
Suda added that he plans to bring the No More Heroes back in the future and hopes that fans will be excited about its return.
No More Heroes’ Paradise, a HD and PlayStation Move enabled cut of the Wii hit, is due out on PlayStation 3 later this year.
