November 30th set to be a big day for Nintendo fans and gamers alike.
Yesterday affectively became ‘Wii U Day’ online, as Nintendo released new information about their tablet-enhanced console hardware at an event telecast to the world.
Unfortunately the long-awaited EU price point for the console wasn’t revealed, but at least now we have a definitive idea of what games we’ll be able to snap up when the Wii U is launched on November 30th.
Here’s the full list:
- FIFA 13
- Mass Effect 3 Special Edition
- Nano Assault Neo
- New Super Mario Bros. U
- Nintendo Land
- Rayman Legends
- Trine 2: Director’s Cut
- Toki Tori 2
- ZombiU
It’s expected that all of these games will retail for £39.99 respectively. Speculation regarding a price for the console itself ranges from £210 to an eye-watering £280.
As far as launch line-ups go the Wii U’s is pretty good; ZombiU is undoubtedly the stand out, as it’s a new IP and Ubisoft’s game seems to make the most of the console’s tablet-like GamePad. Then again we’re pretty sure we were excited for Red Steel when that came out on launch day for the original Wii back in 2006, so who knows? Once bitten twice shy my friend…
