Those little, yellow, plastic people are back and this time they're trying their hand at singing, and er not doing to badly it must be said. Yep everyone's favourite toy as a child is being combined with the Band Hero game to create a new unique music game experience. All the elements of Rock Band have been retained as you build your band from scratch and then set out on the road to achieve ultimate Rockstar fame, but now with the slight difference of everything being made of plastic bricks.

For our latest LEGO coverage, click here to download MMOZine Issue 17 for free.As this game is aimed at the whole family, younger players will be able to join in without finding the game to hard as the developers have included a super easy setting to help ease them in, but there is an expert mode for the more experienced users to play on. Plus the music is pretty varied to help appeal to all ages, there are classics from the Jackson Five, tracks from the Foo Fighters and Blur, right through to pop songs from the likes of Pink.
Customisation is a big feature of this new title and you can change the appearance of pretty much everything to do with your band, such as your entourage, instruments, vehicle, den and of course your band members themselves, all to suit your tastes. And as you play through the various track's and missions you'll be able to unlock new items, special characters and Lego bricks to use later on. There will also be some fancy effects included when you pull off a killer riff, such as destroying a giant robot, which is always going to be impressive to watch. And as this is a LEGO title expect plenty of their trademark humour to be added throughout.
