Here at GamerZines, we're a friendly bunch, so we guess some of you might like to put a face to one of two of the names you see around the site and also find out who the hell they are. If you want to contact any of us, then for general comments, we encourage you to use the forums so that all of us and other readers can see what's being said. If you need something specific, you can always email us, but bear in mind we do get a lot of email every day.
David Taylor - Publishing Director
David has been gaming since Phoenix stole all his pocket money and still fondly remembers Chuckie Egg. David has worked in consumer magazines for over 15 years, working at Future Publishing as Group Publisher on the Official Windows XP magazine and PC Format among many others, as well as at Highbury Entertainment as Publishing Director on magazines such as Games TM and launching X360 magazine. He plays all the consoles and PC, with a particular fondness for RPGs as long as they have really good fire spells, and strategy games if he can conquer the world in them.

Dan Hutchinson - Editorial Director
Dan worked at Future Publishing editing many magazines including PC Format. Dan was also Editorial Director for Highbury Entertainment, launching the critically acclaimed X360 and overseeing titles such as Play, XBM and GamesTM. Dan grew up on Space Invaders and Scramble down the local chippie before Mazogs on ZX81, Chuckie Egg on Spectrum and Sensible Soccer on Amiga. Once Doom arrived on PC he's never quite looked back. FPS is still his first love when he can find the time, but more often than not he's now found playing PES with his nine year old son.

Dean Mortlock - Production Editor (Platform Champion for Wii, DS and PSP)
Dean ensures that all the magazines are ready on time and with all the right screens and words in place. Although he's not particularly fond of the term "games veteran", he does admit that it probably applies to him, as he's been playing games for over 30 years and has written, edited and subbed on over 40 magazines, including Sega Power and Official PlayStation 1 and 2. Dean still loves his Xbox 360 and can often be found prowling Xbox Live in the wee small hours.

Jon Denton - Senior Writer (Platform Champion for Xbox 360)
Jon cut his journalistic teeth on the award-winning gamesTM before taking the helm on the UK's first Xbox 360 magazine, aptly titled 360. He has been a keen sports gamer since the Amiga days, and also loves to spend his time honing his combat skills in Street Fighter, or losing himself in anything with a deep and enriching narrative.

David Scammell - Staff Writer (Platform Champion for PlayStation 3)
Having tired of selling games to the public, David then decided to go off and write about them. After having put pen to paper for a variety of different gaming websites, David later founded and edited PDF magazine D+PAD, before bringing himself and the publication over to Cranberry Publishing in 2009. An avid console gamer, David spends his day scouring the net for the latest news while organising the next issue of P3Zine. And when it all gets too much he can be found playing Rock Band into the early hours, while his guitar gently weeps.

Mairi Taylor - Company Secretary
Mairi works hard to ensure we all stay out of prison by ensuring all the company's legal paperwork is, er, legal.. She also does all the financial malarkey and deals with the nice people at the games companies who pay their advertising bills. While not averse to a bit of RPG action on the Xbox 360, Mairi prefers the social atmosphere of MMO gaming.
