Grandia creator dies

Developer G-Mode has announced its CEO and creator of Japanese RPG series , Takeshi Miyaji died last week.

Takeshi Miyaji died suddenly on July 29, aged 45. The cause of Miyaji-san’s death has not been announced.

Miyaji founded his own development team Gamearts at the age of 19 and when on to produce titles including Silpheed, Gun Griffon, and the famed Grandia series which first appeared on the SEGA Saturn in 1997.

In his last years, Miyaji founded G-Mode, a developer for mobile phone games.
