Final Fantasy Type-0 director Hajime Tabata has blamed the recent PlayStation Network outage for delaying development of the game.
Speaking with Famitsu (translated via Andriasang) Tabata explained that the PSN downtime had slowed down the team’s efforts to develop Final Fantasy Type-0′s multiplayer modes.
More new details about the game were revealed including an impressive 100 hours worth of play for those looking to discover all of the game’s secrets.
At retail, Final Fantasy Type-0 will launch on two UMDs but Square is looking into the possibility of a downloadable version of the game.
Tabata told Famitsu that the game is 80 per cent complete suggesting it will launch in Japan in autumn.
