So, it's Friday 26th February, and it's one of the biggest weeks yet for PAL releases. Especially if you're into psychologically traumatic adventure games. Here's our top 3 for the week, and the rundown of everything you can pick up this weekend.
1.Heavy Rain (PS3)
The fantastically ambitious 'interactive drama' finally makes its bow this week, and is essential for anyone interested in the progression of the medium. It's not without its flaws - some clunky dialogue here and there, a few gaping plot holes and an extremely awkward 'intimate' scene, but Heavy Rain achieves so much, these niggles are easy to forgive.
2.Napoleon Total War (PC)
Creative Assembly's award-winning series makes its highly-anticipated return, maintaining the benchmark of quality that has won it so many plaudits over the years. Another supreme piece of PC strategising.
3.Silent Hill Shattered Memories (Wii)
Talking about the lack of mature Wii games is somewhat hackneyed, so let's just celebrate a genuinely cerebral videogame, and a fantastic reboot of a once-proud series. A great piece of work.
