SCE Santa Monica's John Hight has said that his team has already looked into the idea of developing a game for Sony's upcoming motion-sensing wand, but that he isn't "too confident that we could apply it to God of War III".

Instead, the studio is "probably going to experiment with it and see what we can do with it".

"You know, it is funny, because we actually have looked at it," said God of War III's director of product development while discussing motion control with Joystiq.

However, the technology itself is pretty interesting. And we know that there have got to be a lot of gamers that have a fantasy of wielding some kind of a bladed weapon and going to town. So, you know, we are probably going to experiment with it and see what we can do with it. "

God of Waggle, perhaps?

Sony's motion controller, currently known by its codename Arc, is due to launch this Autumn on PlayStation 3.

SCE Santa Monica is chiefly known for their work on the God of War series, though the developer also teamed up with Incognito to develop Warhawk.

The studio's latest title, God of War III, launches in the UK on March 19th. Check back for our review early next week.
