Zipper Interactive will be delivering a new SOCOM experience on PS3 this year aiming for an autumn release. This time the game will feature a full single player campaign as well as the trade mark multiplayer experience.
This is what we know so far thanks to an IGN preview:
* Aiming to be friendlier to new recruits
* Set in South East Asia over a 6 day period
* You will control a 5 person NATO squad including the first female SOCOM combatant
