SCEA's Rob Dyer has said that he believes PlayStation Network offers an "as good if not better experience" than Xbox Live, and that despite a "slow and cumbersome" start Sony's service continues to go "from strength to strength".

It's easier to get stuff up, it's easier to get it promoted and easier to get it to your consumer, versus what you have with Xbox Live.

"We're just going from strength to strength, especially with as many consoles as we're selling; people are hooking it up to the network and they're downloading stuff."

The most recent figures issued by Sony put the amount of registered PSN accounts at over 40million, as opposed to 23million gold members on Xbox Live.

But which network do you prefer? Let us know by leaving a comment.
