Rumours have long been floating around that Killzone 3, the third instalment of the frenetic first person shooter for PS3, is set for release in 2011, but Sony may now have some even bigger news to accompany its highly anticipated announcement.

An insider source, it claims, has revealed that Killzone 3 will support stereoscopic 3D and will be compatible with the motion controller due to launch before Christmas 2010.
If true, the title will follow the likes of Batman Arkham Asylum 2 which looks set to be one of the first titles that will support 3D. We're not sure if we're quite ready to see images popping out of TV screens right into our living rooms. We don't know whether to be over-joyed at an innovation that will surely take gaming in a whole new direction, or scared to death!
