Infinity Ward's forum swear filter makes the odd, and seemingly sexist association with the fairer sex.

UPDATE: Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist for Infinity Ward, has since been in touch with GamerZines to tell us that it 'seems like a word censor fail that has now been corrected.'

The Infinity Ward forums are awash with complaints from gamers after the revelation that the forum's swear filter associates the word 'c*nt' with girls.

As discovered by 18 year old female forum user II FAT4L II, attempting to use the word c*nt or b*tch in a post on the developer's official forum results in the word being changed to 'girl' by the forum's swear filter upon being published, something II FAT4L II describes as "sexist", "discrimination" and "disrespectful".

The forum-goer called for the developer to "change or (be) sued for hundreds of millions."

This isn't the first time that Infinity Ward has come under attack for discrimination. The developer recently decided to pull a video promoting its Modern Warfare 2 game after coming under fire for the use of the abbreviation F.A.G.S.

The viral video, which featured baseball star Cole Hamels discussing a Fight Against Grenade Spam initiative, was pulled after Game Informer's Phillip Kollar took offence to the video.

Modern Warfare 2, which went on sale two weeks ago on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, has sold millions of copies in its opening weeks, becoming the biggest entertainment launch in history.

Infinity Ward were unavailable for comment at the time of publishing.

What do you think? Is Infinity Ward's association between the words sexist?
