Even with Modern Warfare continuing to fly out the door, EA is confident that its upcoming shooter Battlefield Bad Company 2 is about to dominate the online shooter sector, commenting that there "isn't a developer out there that competes with DICE in this space."

Speaking to MCV earlier today, Bad Company 2's Product Manager Will Graham told the publication:

"While the first iteration may have lacked the polish in single player that the multiplayer did so well, this is addressed for Bad Company 2 for a rounded experience that will appeal to the mainstream consumer.

We genuinely believe there isn't a developer out there that competes with DICE in this space, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is going to cement that."

Graham also revealed that pre-orders for the game were already 'significant' thanks to information released recently by DICE.

We played it with the developer last month. Check out the latest P3Zine for our impressions.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 5th. A multiplayer demo is available to download now from Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store.
