DICE has confirmed to GamerZines that it is "doing a lot of things in the background" that are aimed "towards creating the next big Battlefield product".
Talking to GamerZines last week, Battlefield: Bad Company 2's Executive Producer Patrick Bach said:
"In the background we're doing a lot of things that I can't talk about that are aiming towards creating the next big Battlefield product."

"I've had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE over in Sweden," said Pleasants. "I was highly impressed by the way the people were working on that product. That's not for this fiscal year ending March 31, 2010, but that is a product that is looking very good."
Nothing of the title has been heard of since.
And what about Mirror's Edge 2? We certainly didn't spot anything relating to the product during our trip to the studio last week.
DICE's next title, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in Europe on March 5th.
