Polyphony Digital's next instalment in the highly acclaimed series is due out this year, with number 5 in the franchise looking to bring with it several new features to improve the overall driving experience. And with over a reported 1000 cars for you to purchase and drive there's a lot to keep racing gamers happy.
One of the new features to be implemented is the inclusion of a online mode which supports up to 16 players, plus Sony have introduced damage modelling for the very first time, with both the exterior and mechanics of the car susceptible to damage. There's also been confirmation from Sony that night races will be included for all tracks in the game.
