inFamous 2

There have been enough rumours hinting at a sequel to 2009's stunning superhero sandbox to last us a life time, so expect an official unveil at this year's E3. Given the level of detail put into Empire City we shouldn't think Sucker Punch will want to move away from the desecrated city anytime soon, but our bets are on inFamous 2 being a prequel focussing purely on Kessler, detailing the series of events leading up to the start of inFamous. A Christmas release wouldn't surprise us either.

Resistance 3

That hoarding counted for something, right? Though still not officially confirmed, Resistance 2's cliffhanger ending suggests that we'll definitely be seeing a return of the Chimera, and we reckon as early as E3. Supposedly set in the Big Apple itself, rumours are that the next Resistance won't be hitting until early 2011, but E3 would still be a prime spot to unveil the alien shooter.

Evolution Studios has been in hiding since 2008 for a reason, and we reckon it has something to do with a third home console version of the hit offroad racer. We've had a canyon, the arctic and a tropical island, so what's left for MotorStorm? Could MotorStorm be about to go urban? We'll probably find out at this year's E3...

Metal Gear Solid: Rising

With Hideo's PSP MGS hitting in the next couple of months, a big E3 unveiling of Rising would be the perfect place to boost interest in the series. Announced at last year's E3, Rising's said to focus on Raiden and deliver 'Lightning Bolt Action'. A bit like inFamous, then...

Call of Duty 7

Activision may be hedging its bets when it comes to this year's Call of Duty, but regardless of who it's being developed by and where it's being set, an official unveiling will still be enough to whip the globe into a frenzy. Rumours suggest that this year's CoD will be based on the Vietnam War, and if Treyarch can capture the madcap action of Modern Warfare 2 and recreate it in that horrific environment, we're bound to be in for a treat.
