WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2009 preview for Nintendo Wii We know a lot of you guys are wrestling fans, so we know a lot of you were probably disappointed by THQ's wrestling output on Wii and DS last year. The Wii game was reasonable enough, but it was lacking in features and style when compared to its 360 brethren, while the DS game was an unusual (yet still fun) mix of Elite Beat Agents and wrestling. Thankfully, you won't believe your eyes when you see what THQ have got lined up for you this year. We went down to THQ's offices to have a play with the Wii and DS versions of SmackDown vs. RAW 2009, and we came away gushing to everyone about how great it is. It may have got us a few weird looks on the street, but, goddammit, it was worth it – as SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 is really something worth talking about. For starters, this year round the Wii version has the full feature set. Everything, from the Create-a-Wrestler to the online play and the season modes are in there, so you won't feel so short changed. Secondly, the roster's completely up to date with all the newest Superstars in there. And finally, the control system's been given a very welcome overhaul.
