An hour-long clip of unreleased Star Wars game Battlefront 3 has been released online.
Brought to you and edited by Past to Present Online, the video (lasting exactly 56 minutes 35 seconds) shows off the game’s Galactic Cost mode as well as the Cloud City map, an asault on the Death Star and scenes including Darth Vader.
The game was in development with Time Splitters studio Free Radical for the current generation of consoles before LucasArts pulled the plug on the project.
According to Free Radical co-founder Steve Ellis, the game “had been in final QA” and “was just being fixed for release.”
The game’s cancellation has been cited at the reason Free Radical closed up shop in late 2008 to reopen as Crytek UK in 2009.
