Ubisoft’s surprise hit gets attention from industry legends.
Ubisoft Montreals’s Watch Dogs will launch in 2013 according to the game’s official Twitter.
“The game will be released in 2013 and will be on released on PC and consoles,” reads a tweet on the game’s twitter page.
Though consoles were never official confirmed in the game’s demo, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Gulliemot said the game would launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and possibly next-gen systems.
It was also confirmed that the demo shown at publisher’s E3 press conference was running on PC.
Considered one of the few big surprises of the expo, Watch Dogs caught a lot of attention from attendees at the event including Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto and Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima.
