Latest real-time demo footage from Square Enix showcases the new Luminous Engine.
Have you ever seen visual fidelity like this in a game before?
E3 2012 has lacked any sort of killer announcement thus far, but thankfully Square Enix has given gamers something to be really excited about by showing off their new Luminous Engine which will in all probability power the next Final Fantasy game.
The four minute long real-time demo, titled ‘Agni’s Philosophy’, showcases next-gen visuals and features a battle between mages, monsters and AK47-packing terrorists – that’s certainly an eclectic mix.
The credits include many notable Square Enix names, including Final Fantasy veterans Akira Iwata and Takeshi Nozue, so if you have a passion for that series you’d do well to check out the video below:
