Criterion’s take on the most successful entry in EA’s driving series races into view this October.
During Electronic Art’s press conference at E3, Criterion showed off Need for Speed Most Wanted for the very first time.
Executive producer Max Webber showed off the open-world sequel which features Autolog 2.0 for the first time. The improved multiplayer functionality now tracks everything you’re doing in-game not just fastest event times.
Notably the presentation included a live gameplay demo with both competitors and cop cars constantly banging wheels and bumpers.
Criterion also confirmed Most Wanted’s release date with the multi-format release scheduled to arrive on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 30th in North America or November 2nd if you’re one of the fortunate souls who resides in Europe.
