Namco Bandai realigns its sights on holiday release.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has set its sights on an October launch as publisher Namco Bandai has chosen to push back the game’s release.
Originally slated for an August 24st release date, Ghost Warrior 2′s new release date of October 9th puts it close to a peak buying time for games – sandwiched inbetween Capcom’s action-horror Resident Evil 6 and Bethesda’s stealth shooter Dishonored.
It appears that, at the time of writing, this delay is effective only in the UK and Europe.
No reason has been given for the delay at this time.
City Interactive’s Sniper: Ghost Warrior sold over 2 million copies despite receiving a critical panning across the board.
