Another target missed for Ghost Warrior 2.
City Interactive’s Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has been delayed once again, this time until January 15th, 2013.
The sniping sequel was originally pushed back from August to October but UK distributor Namco Bandai has confirmed the second release date slip.
“It’s key we all want this title to be fantastic in the genre and the leading SNIPER game for sure” said Namco Bandai’s UK marketing and PR director Lee Kirkton.
The engine is fantastic and the level of polish is also key to the title’s success. As soon as the official announcement through distributors is available I will provide it.”
An official announcement with City Interactive is due to be made soon.
The game was originally slated to launch alongside blockbuster hitters such as Assassin’s Creed 3, Halo 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
A January release puts the game in a much less competitive environment.
