Square Enix’s open-world action title Sleeping Dogs will feature up to two hours worth of cut-scenes according to information from the game’s report from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).
The ratings board confirmed that the game’s overall cut-scenes totalled the two-hour mark while confirming that no cuts had been made to the game.
In development with United Front Games, Sleeping Dogs was formerly known as True Crime: Hong Kong before Aectivision chose to shut down development. Square Enix swiftly stepped in to purchase publishing rights to the game hence the new name.
The game will see players going undercover in the gritty parts of the Hong Kong criminal underworld while offering the freedom of the city’s varied open-world setting.
Sleeping Dogs is due to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on August 17th.
