Want to learn more about the Outsider? We’ve got just the thing.
Bethesda has announced that the first set of DLC for Dishonored, titled ‘Dunwall City Trials’, will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Tuesday, December 11th for 400 MS Points/$4.99.
The expansion features ten unique standalone challenges which involve traversal and utilising supernatural powers and technology to kill designated targets. From the looks of things the content is very reminiscent of those dream levels the Outsider flings you into whenever a new power needs to be introduced during Dishonored’s campaign. Lethal and non-lethal objectives feature and scores and times will be ranked via online leaderboards to judge who is the ultimate assassin. Each scenario will be standalone, but Arkane Studios has said that players will see more of the Outsider in this DLC.
An image gallery will also be added to the game, so that whenever you unlock any of the new achievements associated with Dunwall City Trials, you’ll get a chance to have a look at some concept art and the like.
Despite being an exceptional first-person stealth game, Dishonored has been crying out for new content since it was released back in October. Dunwall City Trials is the first slice of new content, with more being readied for release next year. We can hardly wait!
