Heading to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 by the end of the month.
Double Fine Productions and SEGA have confirmed that The Cave will be released next week.

Part-platformer, part-puzzle game; The Cave borrows from lots of different genres and looks quintessentially Double Fine.
The PC and Xbox 360 versions will be released on January 22nd for £9.99 and 1200 Microsoft Points respectively, whereas the PlayStation 3 edition will be released a day after for £9.99. The Cave is also set to appear on the WiiU at a later date, via that platform’s digital store.
The Cave represents Ron Gilbert’s long-awaited return to games development in the guise of a side-scrolling adventure/puzzle solving experience which sees seven heroes venture into a mysterious underground labyrinth in search of what their hearts yearn for.
Gilbert has been working in collaboration with immensely talented team at Tim Schafer’s Double Fine productions and if you read our exclusive interview which went live last week, you’ll know he’s immensely excited to get this streamlined, modern adventure game into gamers’ hands.
