UK retailers snap up pre-order incentives.
In anticipation for Lara’s rebooted epic Tomb Raider, Square Enix has announced two special editions – Survival and Deluxe Collectors – will launch alongside the standard edition next March.
The Survival Edition includes a copy of the game, a mini art book, a double-sided map of the game’s island, a protective survival pouch, and codes to download the game’s soundtrack and a in-game weapon pack.
Those looking to go a step further should save their pennies for the Deluxe Edition, which includes all of the above plus a 6″ Play Arts Kai Lara Croft figurine. The entire pack will be encased in a metal survival box.
Prices for both editions of the game have yet to be announced.
A raft of retailers will also be offering exclusive pre-order incentives listed below:
- GAME – Explorer Bundle – includes the puzzle-filled Challenge Tomb add-on and early access to the Fast Climb Upgrade.
- TESCO – Combat Strike Pack – includes early access to the following upgrades: Pistol Silencer Upgrade, Headshot Reticule Upgrade, Pistol Burst Mode Upgrade, Animal Instinct Skill Upgrade.
- ShopTo.net – Tomb Raider: The Beginnings Digital Comic Book – a 48 page six-part comic that explains the events leading up to the game written by Rhianna Pratchet.
- Amazon.co.uk – Exclusive DLC – Details to be announced next year.
Tomb Raider launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 5th.
