12 GB and 500 GB consoles ready to roll for the end of the month suggest reports.
A new model of the long-rumoured PlayStation 3 redesign is slated for a reveal this week.
The platform holder, who has a Tokyo Games Show conference scheduled for 5am BST Wednesday September 18th, is said to be ready to launch two SKU’s of its slimmer PS3 – a cheap system with 12 GB of memory and another with a whopping 500 GB packed in.
Reports suggest the new system’s could be on shelves as early as Friday Septemebr 28th.
This isn’t the first we’ve heard of the Slim 2.0. The console was originally pegged for a Gamescom reveal in August.
Check back with GamerZines in the morning for more updates for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
