PlayStation Plus gets better and better.
Sony has announced big changes for its subscription-based service PlayStation Plus.
The games giant will be bringing the PlayStation Plus subscription to PlayStation Vita, it confirmed at its pre-Gamescom press conference.
More details are to be announced soon.
There’s no word on whether the PS Vita will require a whole new subscription or whether it will be included with existing PS+ accounts.
For its existing subscribers however, Sony has announced that Rockstar San Diego’s Red Dead Redemption will be a free download in September.
It also announced plans to up the cloud storage among available to subscribers from 150mb to a meaty 1GB of space.
To help entice new subscribers, Sony will be knocking 25 percent off the price of the PlayStation Plus subscription fee for two weeks starting September 5th.
