Rockstar merges 35-man team with Toronto studio.
Publisher Take Two Interactive has announced plans to close Rockstar Vancouver, the studio involved with the Bully series and more recently Max Payne 3.
But it’s not all doom and gloom. The 35-man team from Rockstar Vancouver will be relocating to join the folk 2,500 miles down the road at Rockstar Toronto.
The entire Toronto team will relocate to a larger office and Rockstar says it expect to employ many more staff as a result of the move.
Rockstar has not official state what project its Canadian studio will be working on next although given how Rockstar normally puts dozens of its studios to work on one project during crunch time, you can bet the Canuck’s are involved in Grand Theft Auto V, due to launch in 2013.
