SEGA has announced that a new Yakuza is in development, helmed by a new studio formed by the series’ creator Toshihiro Nagoshi.
The news hit in this week’s issue of Famitsu, which has subsequently been translated by Andriasang.
The name of the new development team translates to Yakuza Studio, but the team’s first game will be in fact Binary Domain, due for release in February.
Yakuza 5′s development is at an early stage, so plenty of details have yet to be revealed. However Mr Nagoshi is holding a press conference later today so more information will be forthcoming.
