Uncharted novel late 2011

Published on October 29th, 2010

News has surfaced today that Nathan Drake is to continue his adventures, but not in the sense that you may expect.

Uncharted: The Fourth Labyrinth is a novel currently being written by Christopher Golden, an author whose previous writing includes ‘The Ferryman,’ ‘Strangewood,’ ‘The Gathering Dark’ and a number of ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ adventures.

Whilst information remains light, the first plot details have been revealed by publisher Del Rey and are as follows:

"Nathan Drake will embark on an all-new, original, action-packed adventure-in search of a secret that will put him on the trail of the legendary labyrinth of Daedalus, and take him from the ruins of Crete to a secret crypt deep in the heart of China!"

Although fans worldwide are eager for the third instalment within the critically acclaimed action-adventure series, a spokesperson for the publisher was keen to ensure that the novel isn’t necessarily a continuation of the storyline.

"It’s a standalone adventure, intended to not impact the continuity of the game stories," the spokesperson for Del Rey explained. "It’s not necessarily a prequel or a sequel.
