Criterion has lifted the lid on three new DLC packs that will be releasing for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit over the course of the next three weeks.
Kicking off on February 22nd, the ‘Armed and Dangerous’ pack introduces two new game modes: ‘Most Wanted’ – "an open world battle where the cops are out to bust a specific racer whilst the racers battle to protect them"; and ‘Arms Race’, described as "free-for-all racing with all weapons active". The pack will be available on both Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network for 560 Microsoft Points or ?6.99 respectively. A UK price on PSN is still to be announced.
Then on March 1st, the ‘Lamborghini Untamed’ pack adds Cop and Racer versions of the Lamborghini Diablo, Countach and Sesto Element, along with ten more events. Again, it’ll cost you $6.99/560MSP.
And finally on March 8th, the classic ’82 Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche 959 and 911 Speedster will be available in a ‘Porsche Unleashed’ pack. Again, it’ll set you back $6.99/560MSP and introduce 10 new events.
Each pack will also have associated achievements and trophies.
Don’t expect the content to hit the PC version, though. Criterion has suggested before that DLC will only be available on the consoles due to a lack of resources.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is out now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Are you going to be picking up any of the additional content?
