A pair of job listings posted on EA’s website have revealed that a new Army of Two game could be in the pipeline, with Visceral Games Montreal reportedly heading up development.
The studio, which developed both the previous Army of Two games under its original name EA Montreal, "is seeking a dynamic Senior Producer for the Army of Two franchise" and a "talented Lead Environment Artist for the Army of Two franchise", suggesting that a second sequel to the third-person shooter series could be in development.
This isn’t the first that a third Army of Two game has been hinted at.
Army of Two: The 40th Day’s producer Matt Turner told us back in October 2009 that he’d "love to" develop a third Army of Two game, but that the opportunity to do so would "depend on the public reaction."
The 40th Day released in January of last year, with EA announcing last May that the game had sold over 1 million units. EA has maintained radio silence on the series since, however.
Could an Army of Two reveal be on the cards for E3?
