The latest episode of EA’s online show PWNED has revealed that the first details regarding SSX’s multiplayer will be announced during GamesCom.
According to the show, SSX will have a “very unique online game mode”, with details to be announced during GamesCom this August.
So far, only a slither of SSX’s single-player has been revealed.
SSX, which was formally known as SSX: Deadly Descents, is a reboot of EA Sports’ popular snowboarding series due for release early next years.
The game lets players snowboard down real-life mountains and features open world gameplay.
The game was met by controversy when it was first announced, with its darker tone and new wingsuits receiving a negative reception from fans.
However, in the months since, EA has released new gameplay footage showing the series’ classic crazy tricks and the return of fan favourite characters.
SSX launches in January on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
