Infinity Ward’s Creative Strategist Robert Bowling has assured GamerZines that the first trailer of Modern Warfare 3′s Spec Ops Survival will be released “very soon”.
“I was just upstairs reviewing the last cut of it,” Bowling told us at a Modern Warfare 3 preview event on Tuesday, when we asked him when the trailer will finally see the light of day.
“It’s very soon and we’re putting the final touches on it.
“There’s still stuff that you guys are seeing here that we’re not ready to show publicly, so we’re classifying some of that information, but as soon as it’s polished up and ready to go then it’ll be out.”
Bowling first revealed that a trailer for Modern Warfare 3′s Spec Ops Survival mode was on its way via Twitter earlier this month. Since then, however, there’s been radio silence on the subject.

Spec Ops Survival is a brand new Horde mode being introduced in Modern Warfare 3, and sees co-op players attempt to survive wave after wave of incoming enemies. We’ve played it. It’s damn good, chaotic fun.
Modern Warfare 3 launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 8th 2011.
