Sony’s PlayStation Blog has given an update on the on-going PlayStation Network outage and it’s not good news.
According to the latest blog update, Sony is warning registered account holders that their personal information may have been compromised as part of the attack on the servers discovered almost a week ago.
This includes everything from names, email addresses, passwords and profile data although PlayStation is warning than credit card data could be included.
For the meantime, PSN users are encouraged to remain vigilant over scams via phone or email that may ask for sensitive information.
No exact date has been given for the service to go live once more.
