Customers who pre-order Sonic Generations from GameStop will be rewarded with an exclusive pinball stage themed after Sonic The Hedgehog 2′s Casino Night stage, the retailer has announced.
As well as the exclusive level, pre-order customers at GameStop will also receive ‘additional exclusive content’, details of which are still to be revealed.
There’s been no word from Sega as to whether the content will be made available in other territories or via digital download. You can catch a glimpse of the content by clicking the image to your left.
The Casino Night pinball stage is the first DLC to be announced for the upcoming platformer, prompting speculation as to what Sega has in store for future Sonic Generations DLC.
Some people are already asking how the pinball stage fits into Sonic Generations. Could it be part of a separate mode in the style of Mega Drive Sonic spin-off Sonic Spinball? Or, like in Sonic 2, could the pinball stage fit directly into the core game?
Sonic Generations launches this November on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and 3DS.
