SC HD lacks multiplayer

Ubisoft has confirmed that the Splinter Cell HD Trilogy will not include the multiplayer modes featured in the original games.

Answering a question posted on a PlayStation Blog entry, Ubi’s Alex Monney broke the news saying, "Unfortunately … the online part of the original games won’t be included."

Monney also confirmed that the co-op campaign featured in 2005′s Chaos Theory has also been chopped.

The Splinter Cell HD Trilogy is due out on PlayStation 3 this Summer.
