Sony’s PlayStation-branded 3DTV will finally launch in the UK next week.
According to online retailers, UK stock of the much-anticipated 3DTV will be available from next Thursday, April 26th.
The 24″ TV, which costs £449, features an innovative display called ‘SimulView’ that projects two separate images to players sitting on the left or right hand side of the monitor, allowing two people to play multiplayer games in fullscreen without the need for splitscreen.
The edge-lit LED TV is also capable of displaying a full 1080p resolution and features a 240Hz refresh rate.
It also comes bundled with two pairs of 3D glasses, an HDMI cable and copies of Killzone 3 and Gran Turismo 5. Both games are 3D-compatible.
The PlayStation 3D Monitor was originally due to launch in the UK last year alongside the release of Resistance 3, but was delayed for unspecified reasons.
