Need For Speed The Run 2 Hours

Published on November 15th, 2011

Need For Speed: The Run’s single-player campaign is just over 2 hours long, GamerZines can confirm.

NeoGAF users picked up on the pitiful play time hinted at in GameTrailers’ review last night, but as you can see in the image to your left, our playthrough of the game’s campaign took us just 2 hours and 10 minutes.

The 2 hour play time excludes retries, loading screens and those silly QTE cutscenes, but even with those taken into consideration, the game won’t last veteran racers longer than an afternoon.

There are a series of additional challenges to complete, as well as multiplayer and leaderboard time chasing in addition to the main event, but the game certainly doesn’t have the same longevity as last year’s Hot Pursuit.

Need For Speed: The Run has been in development at EA Black Box for almost three years. The game launches in the UK this Friday, 18th November on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii and 3DS.
