A listing for a Modern Warfare 3 Intel Pack has appeared on the websites of GAME and Gamestation, prompting speculation as to what the mysterious SKU could be.
The Intel Pack popped up earlier today on both websites for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Modern Warfare 3, although neither website has disclosed what the pack contains.
The pack costs 49.99 on 360/PS3, 5 more than the asking price of the standard version, and 29.99 on PC, which is 10 less.
Activision tend to release three editions of Call of Duty each year: a Standard edition, Limited Edition and Prestige Edition, of which they’re expected to do the same with Modern Warfare 3.
So what could the Intel Pack contain?
We’re guessing it could be some sort of pre-order bonus DLC, or a special pre-order pack similar to what we saw with last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops.
GAME provided pre-order customers of Black Ops with a special pack containing artwork and a flightsuit for use with their Xbox/PSN Home avatar.
