In a recent interview with MTV actor Mark Wahlberg has confirmed that he is to star as Nathan Drake in the movie version of Uncharted.
The star of Max Payne and well known big-screen travesty The Happening, spoke of his love of David O.Russell who was confirmed to be heading the project months ago, and according to Mr Wahlberg the idea is behind the movie is "insane."
"David is one of the best writer/directors I’ve ever worked with," said Wahlberg. "The idea that he has is just insane. So hopefully we’ll be making that movie this summer."
We know exactly what you’re thinking, but before you launch your mouse through the monitor award winning actors Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro were also name-dropped by Mark as being associated with the project, so there is real clout and more importantly money behind this project.
