GTA V has appeared for pre-order at Gamestation, a retail brand of the UK’s largest specialist video games retailer GAME Group.
The images below, acquired by GamerZines yesterday, show a pre-order receipt dated July 1st 2011 for the Xbox 360 version of GTA V, as well as a release schedule published by the retailer.
According to our source, the release schedule has since been replaced by another that removes GTA V from the listing – but not before our tipster managed to pre-order the game.
GTA V has long been rumoured to be in development, and was expected by many to be announced during this year’s E3.
Prior to E3, GTA V appeared on GameStop Germany’s website marking it for a January 15th 2012 release, with sources at other publications saying a 2012 release would be ‘likely’.
The game has also reportedly appeared on other retailers’ release schedules in the US last month, but this is the first time it’s been spotted in the UK.
Rockstar remains tight-lipped on the existence of the title.
