Debut gameplay footage of God of War: Ascension is expected to be revealed this afternoon during a live stream event hosted on the official PlayStation Blog by game director Todd Papy.
The stream will go live at 4PM BST, according to a tweet from the PlayStation Blog, where gamers will get their first ever glimpse at the upcoming God of War title.
God of War: Ascension was officially revealed by Sony last week following a leak from online retailer Amazon.
At the time, Sony used inverted commas to ‘announce’ their title, suggesting that the game’s reveal had been brought forward as a reaction to the leaks.
A CGI teaser trailer was also released, which hinted at the game being a prequel title set before the original God of War. The game is expected to be released exclusively on PlayStation 3 later this year.
