Ubisoft has announced a March 2012 launch window for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
The news came via the game’s latest trailer released following Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, which also revealed that exclusive content would be available for pre-order customers.
Details on the content are still to be announced.
Earlier today, Ubisoft announced that the Xbox 360 version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier would include Kinect support.
Kinect support lets players play the game completely with Microsoft’s motion controller, customising weapons and shooting targets purely by making gestures.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has seen numerous setbacks since its announcement in January 2009. The game had originally been due to launch last year, but was pushed back to the March quarter of 2011 to "strengthen" Ubisoft’s product line-up. However, the game’s release was subsequently delayed to Ubisoft’s FY2012.
A beta is also expected in the months prior to launch.
